It’s been a while, and may be a while more

Who knew babies could suck time away from you!

It’s been almost 5 months since he arrived and it’s wonderful but gone to fast!!

We are making progress on the home studio with the aim of getting some work done, even if it is at the pace of this charming snail I helped cross the road this morning whilst walking to be neighbour to feed her mummy pig.

Spring is here to inspire us!

The Little Arts Festival!

I am part of a team of volunteers that thought it was a good idea last year to put on a 10 day art festival. August 19th-28th in, and around Rushlake Green.

We are excited to announce the programme! Printed copies coming soon.

Please check out the website for the full list

There is visual art, music, crafts, classes, performances, and lots more! All by local artists, all showcasing the creative talent in East Sussex.

What better to do this August than to come and join in?

Popsicle Lewes

A while ago I saw a shop in Lewes called Popsicle and was in love!

“Live life in colour” is the text on the door of this shop, and it’s wonderful, vibrant owner Sharon does just that.

I am really excited to be exhibiting a series of paintings on the shops display board in the Needlemakers cafe.

Please check out the shop, the cafe, and my work and let me know what you think.

Have a wonderful, colourful weekend!

Busy times

Some days you believe you have taken on to many things and nothing is getting done.

Some days you see that you are chipping away at lots of different projects and the reward will come later down the line.

Some days you need to take stock and shut down those things that realistically will not bring you what you need them to.

Today I am making a list of what I have “on my plate”.

What needs to be dealt with today? What can wait? What do I want to do?
